Liverpool – The city of the Beatles
Liverpool is a city in North West England and became really famous when the Beatles first came out.
The local authority is represented by the Liverpool City Council and has a population of almost half a million.
The popularity of The Beatles and other groups such as the Merseybeat contributed a lot to the great status of Liverpool. Liverpool became a great destination for tourists for musics, arts & sports. Liverpool is also home of two majors Premier League football clubs, Liverpool and Everton.
What a great band – The beatles
If I am talking about Liverpool without talking about the Beatles, it’s like writing a book without its first chapter.
The Beatles were an English rock band formed in 1960 in Liverpool. They became widely famous and regarded as the foremost and most influential music band in history with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
The Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool I visited the museum of the Beatles and you can clearly see where they played. Over a period of only three-year the Beatles became really famous and the Beatles became and still are the best-selling band in history, with estimated sales of over 800 million albums worldwide.
Liverpool is always a city of industrial and innovation. Railways, transatlantic steamships, municipal trams and electric trains were used in Liverpool as a first road of mass transit.

In the field of health, the first lifeboat station was built in Liverpool.
I cannot tell enough about the experience I felt in Liverpool but traveling there was an amazing experience through the culture of this city. I was staying two nights in Manchester, where I decided to stay in an hostel…It was a great experience as I met a bunch of Irish people and an English Guy from Devon. The life in Liverpool is very prosperous, you can really feel that it’s a hub for culture, arts, health and many other things. The Beatles had a strong impact on the city but many other things made the city of Liverpool.
Liverpool remains a city of beauty and has a lot to offer to anyone interested to spend a day at this amazing city. Life out there is chilled, people have funny accents and they love drinking as anyone else!
The cat of Liverpool is displayed close to the museum of the Beatles, where you can see clearly the importance of arts in Liverpool. It’s a great city to visit.
The town hall of Liverpool close to the haven has a great architecture. We had a great time visiting Liverpool as it was a great sunny day.
